At Sendmybag.com HQ we recently undertook a study of our last 25,000 pieces of luggage and our findings were quite surprising:
1. Only a small number of customers sent an item which weighed 25-30kgs.
2. A large proportion of customers purchasing the 20kg rate sent hand luggage sized items weighing less than 10kgs.
3. A significant number of customers were sending large but light items.
A separate survey revealed travellers rated our European standard services as exceptional value vs the airlines, but also revealed a demand for a lower cost European express service more suited to short breaks.
